Supported conversions
Anything your browser can open can be converted to JPG, PNG or WebP: that includes PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, GIF (first frame), BMP and AVIF. HEIC photos use the same local decoder as the dedicated HEIC converter, loaded only when one of those files needs it.

PNG or JPG: which should you pick?
Use JPG for photographs: continuous tones compress extremely well and nobody notices the loss. Use PNG for screenshots, diagrams, logos and anything needing a transparent background: it is lossless, so text stays crisp instead of getting a halo of artefacts. Use WebP when the destination is a website: it does both jobs and comes out smaller than either.
Converting a JPG to PNG does not restore quality that the JPEG encoder already discarded; it only makes the file bigger. Conversion is one-way in that sense, which is why keeping your originals matters.

+ Is there a watermark?
No. The output is your image and nothing else. There is no watermark, no branding and no hidden marker of any kind.
+ Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?
Yes. This converter loads the same local decoder as the dedicated HEIC to JPG page only when it needs it, so no browser or operating-system HEIC codec is required. The photo still never leaves your device.
+ Does it keep transparency?
Converting to PNG or WebP keeps the alpha channel. Converting to JPG cannot, because JPEG has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
+ Can I convert many files at once?

+ Does converting reduce quality?
Converting to PNG is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP re-encodes the image at the quality you choose. Leave it at 90% or above if you want the difference to stay invisible.
